At Den-Vera, we provide quality and affordable health services to rural community dwellers, with focus on women, children, and the elderly.
Rural communities continue to face challenges in the health sector due to bad road connectivity, lack of electricity, corruption, lack of medical equipment at health facilities, etc.
As a result, Maternal mortality rate, the usage of traditional medications, dying from curable diseases like malaria, typhoid, and other conditions are situations rural community dwellers are faced with daily.
Access to standard health facilities and services remains a privilege, to help solve this Den-Vera Medical Laboratory and clinics was established on April 6, 2020 in Greenville City, Sinoe County, Liberia.
Having lived and worked in rural communities for more than ten years, our proprietor witnessed and experienced the challenges rural community dwellers have to deal with daily as a result of the lack of standard and well-equipped medical health facilities.
He has witnessed mothers giving birth at home and others giving birth while heading to a health facility. He too was birthed at a local medicine store in a rural community as his parents did not have funds to cover the medical bills at a health facility.
With these experiences, the desire to establish a private health facility that will provide quality and affordable health services was birthed in 2015 and the vision became a reality on April 6, 2020.
Since its establishment, within two years, the clinics have provided medical services to over 7800 persons, mostly women and children.
We provide a wide range of laboratory services.
We provide vaccine services from a broad range for everyone.
For all patients, we offer counselling sessions that can bring out a lot of results.
Our maternal care services are state-of-the-art.
As our mission is to provide quality and affordable services to rural communities, we solicit support to empower us to reach our goals. Currently, due to limitations/lack of funds, we are yet to commence deliveries at the clinics, purchase needed medical equipment, transition our services to a bigger facility that will accommodate more cases, purchase drugs, manage staff salaries, employ more qualified staff, running of the generator, etc.
